It turned out to be a terrible decision. Below is a point by point description of my experience there and where Kiddie Cruise failed to provide adequate service.<br /><br />But for those of you who want the short version here it is:<br /><br />If you want to provide your children some entertainment and play time that is a little different than the norm this might be an ok option. Although at $30 per guest you could find much more inexpensive alternatives. As far as birthday celebrations go I found this to be the worst I have ever been to. I&#39;ve gotten better service at birthday parties done at McDonalds. Kiddie Cruise suffers from poorly informed, poorly trained and inattentive staff. There is very little coordination and management seems to either be unaware or unconcerned<br />about any of this. And not to mention that some of the staff were dressed more to entertain the daddies than the children. They do not provide any form of personalized service to those paying the extra money to throw a birthday party there. Everything from the food to the decorations to the costumes to the accomodations is done on the cheap, very cheap. It was suppsed to be a princess and pirate themed cruise but aside from a couple of prom dresses and bandanas worn by staff there was very little evidence of that. After complaining and being promised that something would be done to make up for this it&#39;s a week later and still nothing.<br /><br /><br />- Very poor organization/coordination during the boarding process. No lines, no communication from the staff and poorly informed staff.<br /><br />- My reservations were lost even after they were confirmed a number of times with the woman running the cruise.<br /><br />- Delays in getting the reservations issue resolved resulted in my family and I having to wait on the dock and were the last to board.<br /><br />- The woman in charge promissed to make up for loosing our reservations and that we would be seated soon.<br /><br />- We spent 1/2 hour of the 2 hour cruise standing around waiting to be seated.<br /><br />- When seated we were provided with seating of lower quality than that of the other guests on the ship. Our table almost fell over due to being damaged.<br /><br />- During the cruise the staff sang happy birthday for other families but never got around to us.<br /><br />- We were told the cake we brought would be taken up to us during the cruise, that didn&#39;t happen. My wife had to locate one of their staff and alert them. The cake was still not brought up until about 10 minutes after that. When we were finally ready to sing our daughter happy birthday the ship was almost completely docked and the families around us were preparing to leave.<br /><br />- There was supposed to be a raffle held during the cruise.
